Re: Creative Writing Workshop Short-Story Master Class
with author Claire Keegan.
Saturday, 26th November 2005, in the Millrace Hotel, Bunclody from 10.30 – 16.00

As part of this year’s Storytelling Festival, the library service is once more coordinating a Master-Class for creative writing enthusiasts. The booking form is enclosed. Please bring it to the attention of your members and encourage them to attend if it will be useful to them.

As you may know, Claire Keegan is a highly acclaimed short story writer and an important voice in Irish literature today. She read from her collection Antarctica at the Wexford Book Festival earlier this year, and is invited back now to provide a more in-depth analysis of the short-story form. This day-long workshop is targeted at improving and established writers. To ensure relevance it is important that participants complete and return the profile form. It will also help Claire achieve the best level and range of content.

This workshop is provided with support from Ciaran Redmond Civil Engineering, Kildavin. His support is appreciated.

As usual places will be allocated on a first booked, first placed basis.
A Festival brochure will be available in late October. I will ensure copies are forwarded to you.

Best wishes,

Fionnuala Hanrahan
County Librarian
